Overview
We recently completed a project in Hitchin where we were tasked with the removal of finlock gutters and their replacement with UPVC fascia & soffit in white. Additionally, we fitted black deepflow gutters to enhance the property’s exterior drainage system.
The Challenge
The existing finlock gutters were causing issues for the property. These concrete gutters are notorious for absorbing water, leading to dampness and other structural problems over time. The challenge was to remove these problematic gutters without causing any damage to the property and replace them with a more efficient and aesthetically pleasing solution.
Our Solution
Our team decided to replace the finlock gutters with UPVC fascia & soffit in white. UPVC is a popular choice for guttering due to its durability, low maintenance, and cost-effectiveness. The white color chosen for the fascia & soffit added a clean and modern look to the property’s exterior.
In addition to the fascia & soffit, we installed black deepflow gutters. These gutters are designed to handle a larger volume of water, making them an excellent choice for areas with heavy rainfall. The black color provided a nice contrast to the white fascia & soffit, adding to the property’s curb appeal.
The Result
The project was a success. The new UPVC fascia & soffit in white, coupled with the black deepflow gutters, not only solved the property’s drainage issues but also significantly enhanced its exterior appearance.
