Hitchin Home Gets A Fresh, Modern Makeover With UPVC
This charming Hitchin property was a prime candidate for an exterior overhaul. The original wooden fascia, soffit, and bargeboards had truly seen better days, exhibiting significant signs of wear and tear. The paint was peeling in numerous places, and sections of the wood were noticeably crumbling, indicating a lack of maintenance over time. Furthermore, the existing guttering was old and inefficient, detracting from the home's overall curb appeal and failing to properly manage rainwater runoff. It was clear these elements were not only an eyesore but also presented potential issues for the structural integrity of the property.
Our skilled team at Enhance Exteriors embarked on a comprehensive transformation. The first crucial step involved the careful and complete removal of all the deteriorated wooden fascia, soffit, and bargeboards, along with the worn-out guttering system. This meticulous preparation ensured a clean slate for the new installation.
We then proceeded to expertly install brand new, crisp white UPVC fascia, soffit, and bargeboards. UPVC was the ideal choice for this project due to its exceptional durability, weather resistance, and minimal maintenance requirements – a significant upgrade from the problematic wood it replaced. To perfectly complement the clean, modern aesthetic and ensure superior rainwater management, we also fitted white deepflow guttering and downpipes. The deepflow design is particularly effective at handling higher volumes of rainwater, providing enhanced protection for the property.
The transformation was remarkable. The result is a stunning, low-maintenance exterior that not only looks fantastic but will also provide years of robust protection for the homeowner. The clean lines and bright white of the UPVC instantly brightened the entire property, giving it a contemporary, well-cared-for, and inviting appearance. This upgrade has not only boosted the home's curb appeal but has also added significant long-term value and peace of mind for the residents.
