In such a situation, you would be able to make a claim under the terms of the IBG insurance, which covers the original guarantee provided by the installer.

The IBG is available for a period up to 10 years, depending on the work carried out, and is underwritten by an authorised insurer.

However, it is important to note that you must apply for your Insurance Backed Guarantee within 28 days of the contract being completed to your entire satisfaction and once you have paid the CPA member.
